Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant / Administrative Assistant to join our team on a fixed term contract.
Accounting Duties:
Post and process bank and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Review expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
Prepare and submit monthly reports.
Assist FD in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
Administrative Duties:
Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Organize and schedule appointments.
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Develop and maintain a filing system.
Maintain contact lists.
Submit and reconcile expense reports.
Provide general support to visitors.
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
