Placements24 is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the finance team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across accounts payable, receivable, and data entry while working with senior accountants to build a solid foundation in accounting.

You will gain exposure to month-end and year-end processes, bank reconciliations, and broad accounting tasks in a supportive coastal city environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in an accounting support role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• A strong desire to learn and develop in the accounting field.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the preparation of bank reconciliations and other financial reports.
