As we grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and ambitious Junior Accountant to join our team.

Role Overview

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting team with bookkeeping, reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop their technical skills, and grow within a progressive accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and capturing of accounting transactions (Xero and other cloud platforms).
  • Preparation of bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts and reporting.
  • Supporting tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, provisional and income tax).
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and working papers.
  • Liaising with clients to obtain supporting information where required.
  • Assisting senior accountants with year-end files and reviews.
  • Supporting internal projects and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (completed or in progress).
  • 0–2 years of accounting experience (articles / internship experience beneficial).
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Xero preferred, but training provided).
  • Strong MS Excel and computer literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and willingness to learn.
