Qualifications

• 23 years experience in a Junior Accountant or similar finance role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile cashbooks and banking transactions.
• Manage the full creditors function, including supplier payments and reconciliations.
• Manage the debtors function, including collections and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly debtor and creditor age analyses.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT reconciliations, submissions, and payments.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash records.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and general journal processing.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Ensure accurate filing and record keeping of all financial documentation.
• Participate in process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.
• Support compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
