We're Hiring: Junior Accountant (South Africa)

Location: Hybrid (based in Johannesburg)

Are you passionate about numbers, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in cloud accounting? We’re looking for aJunior Accountantwith 1-2 years of experienceto join our dynamic finance team.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry

Reconcile bank statements and process supplier/customer transactions

Help prepare VAT, PAYE, income tax, and provisional tax submissions

Maintenance of CIPC records and preparation of relevant submissions for clients

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Support month-end close and analyse financial statements/management accounts

Learn and grow under the guidance of senior accountants

What You’ll Need:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting

1–2 years of on-the-job accounting experience

Working knowledge ofXero, Payspace, and Konsiseis advantageous (Xero advisor certification is a plus)

Excellent proficiencyin MS Office, including Excel

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Willingness to work longer hours to meet deadlines

Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
