The business is looking for a meticulous and motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to accurate reporting and compliance.

● Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements● Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and approval tracking● Maintain accurate financial records using systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft● Support financial data analysis and assist with reporting requirements● Contribute to month-end close activities including reconciliations and journal entries● Liaise with senior accountants to ensure compliance with accounting standards● Assist in internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation● Provide mentoring to interns or junior team members as required
● A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)● Understanding of financial principles and basic accounting practices● Experience using accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft advantageous)● Strong attention to detail and organisational skills● Ability to manage individual tasks while collaborating within a team● Strong verbal and written communication skills
