The role is based in Cape Town, with service responsibilities across territories such as South Africa, the UK, US, and Europe. You will work with a team of entrepreneurial, consultative individuals dedicated to achieving our goals. About the role

We are seeking a Junior Account Manager (“JAM”) to join our client services team. You will become an expert in our product suite, engaging with organiser clients to ensure their needs are met. The role involves account management and customer service/operations, with potential exposure to multiple territories and time zones. This hybrid role requires at least 3 days per week in our Cape Town office. The JAM will report to the Senior Account Manager in SA and the Senior Client Operations Manager in the UK.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Handling client enquiries and supporting their needs.
  • Serving as the key contact for assigned accounts, maintaining client satisfaction, and building strong relationships.
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships to align goals and identify success metrics.
  • Implementing retention strategies to extend client lifetime value.
  • Collaborating with account operations to meet client expectations.
  • Working with the Business Development Team to ensure smooth onboarding from deal closure to full account management.
  • Managing client escalations and resolving issues across teams.
  • Providing internal feedback to improve client service and reduce churn.
  • Identifying and executing upsell opportunities.
  • Managing the renewal process and meeting targets for renewals, revenue retention, and upsells.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape, ticketing, and the events industry.
  • Attending virtual and physical meetings, including travel within South Africa and abroad if necessary.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills for multi-tasking.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and create opportunities.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and a self-starter.
  • Ability to build relationships easily and enjoy social interactions.
