Job Description
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s online presence and generating leads through various digital channels. You will collaborate closely with the head of growth and the business team to develop, implement, and optimise digital campaigns that effectively target our audiences. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Campaign Creation & Management: Build and optimise targeted digital campaigns across multiple platforms, with a focus on Google Ads and LinkedIn. Create compelling ad copy for ERP and accounting solutions (targeting companies with 30-500 employees, R50M+ turnover) and payroll solutions (10-1000+ employees). Manage budgets, monitor performance, and adjust campaigns based on data to maximise ROI.
- Content Collaboration: Work with the team to create engaging digital content, including ad headlines, calls to action, website snippets, and blog ideas, ensuring messaging resonates with target clients. Gain experience in content planning, adaptation for different channels, and maintaining brand consistency.
- SEO Support & Website Updates: Assist in maintaining and improving SEO, updating website content, conducting keyword research, and monitoring website performance using tools like Google Search Console.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company's presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter by scheduling posts, engaging with the audience, responding to comments, and tracking performance metrics.
- Email Marketing Assistance: Support email marketing campaigns by segmenting lists, creating content, conducting A/B tests, and analysing performance to optimise results.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics to track campaign performance, measure marketing spend against KPIs, and prepare reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Platform Proficiency Development: Develop expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and learn new tools as needed to meet campaign goals and industry trends.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on competitors to identify market trends, strategies, and opportunities for gaining a competitive edge.
- Event Assistance: Assist in planning and promoting in-person events, including logistics and post-event follow-up.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on digital marketing trends and suggest new strategies and technologies to improve marketing efforts.
- CRM Integration: Work with the CRM system to track leads from campaigns, ensuring effective integration between marketing and sales processes.
Qualifications
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the ERP industry
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Ability to work independently
- This is NOT a hybrid or remote position; you are required to work from the office daily.
