Detail : SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION :
- Health and Safety responsibilities.
- Responsible to monitor the departmental compliance to HSEcardinal rules and re-enforcement of department’s safetyculture.
- Ensure implementation of the set SOPs
- Report USACs, near misses, incidents and injuries to the LineManager and SHEQ.
- Inspect all safety devices as per PM schedules and keep record(E / Stops, speed monitors, rope switches, Castell key units, etc)
- Adhere to LOTO procedure prior to commencing work on anyequipment.
- Ensure risk assessment processes and inspections are followedand reviewed prior to the commencement of shift.
- Work in close relation to the SHEQ officer for safety measures.
- Ensure the departmental baseline risk assessmentrecommendations are followed and implemented.
Performance responsibilities :
Ensure all safety devices are checked on a regular basis withproper record keeping (E / Stops, speed monitors, rope switches,Castell key units, etc).Ensure maintenance of lighting for compliance with legalillumination requirements in the plant, and offices by conductregular maintenance to replace faulty or flickering lights.Implement the 5s principle in area of responsibility.Perform lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, and repairof tools, machines, and equipment.In real-time attend to breakdowns, and installations on the plantand off site (admixture site).Clean strainers and inspect flexible piping for wear andblockages, and check tanks condition off site (admixtureo site).Perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot on vacuum, hydraulic, andpneumatic systems.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, fans, bearings, andconveyance systems.Plant equipment integrity and functionality at 97% for theelectrical function.Ensure all weighing equipment’s are calibrated.Ensure daily equipment inspections are conducted and reportedon the same day.Contribute to the planning of maintenance and repairs (includingshutdowns).Spare parts management – complete issue slips for spare-partsused for machine repairs.Inspection and service of process equipment, laboratory, andoffice spaces, and utilities such as generators, transformers,etc…Conduct RCA for equipment failures and ensure actions areclosed in Realtime.Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line manager.REQUIREMENTS :
Trade Test Millwright / Electrical or any related qualificationDiploma in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 2 years working experience in a manufacturingsetupBasic Management skills / Supervisory skillsInterpersonal skillsBasic Computer LiteracyCompetency in Root Cause Analysis methodologies
