Job Title : Business Development Manager

Gauteng, Kempton Park Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER AIR & SEA KEMPTON PARK

The main purpose of the role :

The role is to gain new business in the market and maintain new business secured whilst increasing the logistics spend of each customer. Compile rates proposals / estimates and presentations, conduct customer implementation and manage all administrative functions within the sales environment. Responsibilities :

• Attend and complete the designated training for this program
• Shadow sales manager
• Operational implementation of new business signed.
• Profit maximization
• Tender, proposal and contract development
• Stakeholder account and relationship management
• Business value propositions
• Consultative selling
• Opportunity analysis and qualification
• Fulfill reporting requirements including but not limited to CRM Tool management

Requirements :

• Matric – Essential
• National Diploma / B. Degree / B. Tech preferable
• Minimum 2 – 3 years sales experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding / Shipping Line
• Own reliable vehicle
• Valid endorsed driver’s license
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to travel
