MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Develop, publish, and implement BIM standards, protocols, and processes based on best practices. Establish company-specific drawing naming conventions aligned with ISO standards and maintain a centralized drawing repository for the company's DC facilities, including historical, new, and operational projects.
- Train team members and relevant stakeholders in BIM usage, standards, protocols, processes, and best practices relevant to their roles.
- Ensure models and design data are reviewed, coordinated, and verified to conform to company BIM standards and best practices. This includes ownership of BIM Digital Twins (live models and data sets) handed over by IDEV or IM Departments upon project completion.
- Facilitate consultation between colleagues, external professionals, and clients to resolve technical issues related to design, layout, or detailing, maintaining data fidelity within the company's BIM ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external architects to ensure data fidelity of as-built information for existing facilities, especially when changes occur post-handover from the Infrastructure Development Department to Operations and IM.
- Coordinate with IM Department Document Controllers to ensure successful migration of as-built and handover data between BIM environment and the company's O&M SharePoint Hub.
- Establish processes with Infrastructure Management Document Controllers to ensure adherence to BIM best practices and policies (OIR, PIR, BEP) to maintain data integrity across departments.
- Develop effective BIM workflows to facilitate collaboration between IM, OMIP, SM, and IDEV departments.
- Evaluate and implement new BIM tools, techniques, and technologies for continuous improvement, supporting the BDOTS in achieving ISO 19650 Certification and maintaining compliance.
- Monitor and report on BIM process performance monthly to the BDOTS to aid in continuous improvement of BIM efficiencies within the organization.
- Assist the BDOTS in propagating BIM best practices, protocols, policies, and discipline to the company's supply chain vendors involved in BIM projects.
- Support the Drawing Office in architectural design and coordination functions, especially in covering resource gaps due to staff absence or urgent needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a B.Tech in Architectural Technology or equivalent engineering qualification.
- Certification in Autodesk CAD software with at least 5 years’ experience in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and BIM360.
- Autodesk Certified Instructor or experience in Autodesk product training, including BIM.
- 2-3 years of management experience, overseeing teams or cross-departmental collaboration.
- Familiarity with international BIM best practices.
