Job summary
Ford Motor Company in Pretoria invites recent graduates to join the Product Development Young Professional Program, a rotational, hands-on experience across the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
You will work with cross-functional teams in R&D, design, engineering and product management, contribute to requirements, prototype development, testing, competitive analysis and business case development, and gain exposure to IP strategy.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product requirements definition based on user needs and business goals
- Assist in prototype development through hands-on building and testing
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and technology trend analysis
- Participate in cross-functional sprint teams (engineering, marketing, supply chain)
- Support user testing sessions and synthesize feedback
- Help develop business cases for new product concepts
- Document technical specifications and development processes
- Gain exposure to IP strategy and patent filing processes
