Job Opportunity: Engineer III, Process (Ethylene Cracker) - South Africa

A leading petrochemical company is seeking a qualified Engineer III, Process to join its Ethylene Cracker operations in KSA. If you have a solid background in chemical engineering and experience in the petrochemical industry, this is a great opportunity to excel in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high HSE standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Validate internal and third-party process design work for compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Analyze plant and engineering data to recommend operational optimizations.
  • Participate in projects, ensuring tasks align with schedules and constraints.
  • Evaluate technical bid proposals and escalate complex plant issues for timely resolution.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and assist in developing engineering documentation and plans.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
  • Diploma holders must have 10+ years of experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of process engineering experience with a degree.
  • Working towards Chartered/Professional Engineer qualification or membership.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in chemical engineering principles, statistical analysis, and operations support.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability to change.
Salary Details:
  • Engineers: Basic Salary: SR 8,000 - SR 10,000.
    Note: Salary may increase for skilled and relevant candidates.
