Job summary

Homechoice is seeking a Showroom Operations Intern to support its national showroom operations from Head Office in Cape Town. In this role, you will gain practical experience working alongside retail professionals and contribute to operational excellence.

Your responsibilities include analysing showroom performance data, preparing operational reports, and assisting with retail campaigns. A completed Diploma in Retail Management or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Completed Diploma in Retail Management, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Working alongside experienced retail professionals, you'll contribute to operational excellence and support initiatives that help our showrooms deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collation and analysis of showroom performance data across key operational metrics.
• Support the preparation of weekly and monthly operational reports for showroom leadership.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of national retail campaigns and promotions.
• Contribute to the review and maintenance of standard operating procedures and process documentation.
• Support stock movement tracking and exception reporting across the showroom network.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Services, to support smooth store operations.
• Assist with responding to showroom queries and supporting issue resolution.

Qualifications

• A completed Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Retail Management, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
