Job summary

PwC provides an internship in Forensics in Africa, offering exposure to corporate intelligence, investigations, supply chain resilience and forensic technology solutions through formal and on-the-job training.

You will assist with drafting forensic reports, analysing financial and other data, collecting relevant evidence, and supporting document management, interview notes, and business development related to risk management.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in one of the following: BCom Forensic Accounting (Honours), LLB Law, BCom Internal Audit (Honours), BCom Law (Honours), BCom Accounting (Honours) - Non-CA route, BA Forensic Science and Technology (Honours), BCom Economics / Econometrics (Honours), BCom General (Honours).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the compilation of draft forensic reports and appendices
  • Analysing financial and other data
  • Collecting, documenting and analysing relevant evidence
  • Assessing economic crime, fraud and corruption
  • Assisting with conducting forensic interviews
  • Transcribing interview notes
  • Ensuring accurate document management and record keeping for investigative matters
  • Indexing and paginating case files for investigative matters
  • Assisting in business development (proposals and risk management)
  • Assisting in research-related tasks
  • Ensuring that the correct organisational model is in place to deliver highly effective service to the organisation and its clients
  • Maintaining a positive view of PwC's culture, values and reputation
