Job summary

ABSA is offering an ACCA Trainee Accountant internship in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Trainees rotate every six months across bank areas to gain exposure and build competencies for Chartered Accountants qualification over a three-year period.

Role includes assisting with monthly management accounts, budgeting/forecasting, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting to internal stakeholders, with formal coaching and mentoring as part of Gen A program.

Qualifications

• must have a qualification in the discipline of Accounting and Auditing or Finance

The purpose of the Absa Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) program is to provide our selected trainees with the relevant experience and competencies needed to qualify as Chartered Accountants after a period of three years.
