The Small Enterprise Development Agency seeks a Business Advisor Level 3 on a 24-month contract to provide strategic business development services primarily to small and medium enterprises. Qualifications

JOB PROFILE

JOB TITLE: Business Advisor Level 3

DURATION: Twenty-four (24) Months fixed contract

REPORTING TO: Branch Manager

JOB GRADE: C5 Minimum Midpoint

RANGE: R515 020 - R605 906

NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 01

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide strategic business development services primarily to developed small and medium enterprises.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  1. Provide relevant strategic direction and business advisory services to existing small and medium enterprises.
  2. Conduct Business Diagnostics using relevant tools.
  3. Facilitate access to formal markets.
  4. Facilitate and manage small enterprise training courses and specialised seminars to potential high-value start-ups and existing small and medium enterprises.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the improvement of client business position.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

  • Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Management/Commerce/Engineering/Project Management.
  • Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business will be an added advantage.
