We are seeking a driven and skilled Junior Verification Specialist to join our Credit Risk team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail, and will enjoy a culture based on trust, autonomy, and ownership.

The Junior Verification Specialist Will

1. Ensure all required documentation is collected, verified, and aligned with the mandates of purchase order funding, invoice discounting, and other funding products introduced by Sourcefin.
2. Identify and escalate discrepancies in client documentation through designated platforms and personnel.
3. Perform in-depth research and due diligence on prospective clients and end buyers.
4. Conduct checks on company directors and shareholders.
5. Assess risks based on past business dealings and credit history.
6. Ensure compliance with all SARS requirements for funding approval.
7. Identify and escalate potential tax compliance risks.
8. Assess client creditworthiness using prescribed platforms.
9. Review client bank statements for financial viability.
10. Follow up on invoices with end buyers for accurate payment dates and bank details.
