Job Title : Jnr Admitted Attorney Litigation

Location : Bedfordview - Johannesburg

Salary : R18 000 - R20 000 CTC per month, plus incentives, depending on experience

Benefits : Will be discussed in the interview

Vacancy Type : Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required :

  • LLB degree or equivalent.
  • Must be an Admitted Attorney with right of appearance in the High Court.
  • 3+ years' experience in litigation as an Attorney.
  • Valid driver's license and own car, as travel to court and clients is required.
  • Proven experience in drafting legal documents, contracts, and opinions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Residency in Johannesburg or East Rand is essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including but not limited to civil litigation, motion practice, and trial work.
  • Assist with estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate administration.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, contracts, and opinions.
  • Appear in court and advocate on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate and settle disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
