Job summary

Falcorp Resourcing in Centurion is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to own the full software development lifecycle, from concept through testing to deployment and maintenance. You will work with product owners and analysts to translate requirements into robust, scalable Java applications, using Spring, Hibernate, and modern tooling.

A strong background in OO design, unit testing, and REST/SOAP services is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience.
• Minimum 6 years of overall experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with database design and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
