Job summary

A consulting firm in Cape Town is looking for a Java Developer with expertise in Core Java and Java 8, as well as experience in implementing EJB components and Hibernate ORM. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and possess solid knowledge of SQL and ETL processes. Knowledge of Microservices architecture, containerization, and UI frameworks like Angular or React is also required. This is a full-time position requiring immediate availability, working on-site at the client’s office.

Required Technical Skill Set

• Profound insight into Core Java and Java 8 features
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing EJB components and Hibernate ORM
• Strong understanding of Spring MVC and Spring Batch frameworks
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design
• Experience in ETL processes and data integration workflows
• Proficiency in developing and consuming SOAP-based web services
