Job summary

Circana in Johannesburg is seeking an Item Coding Team Lead to oversee daily BAU operations and expand the team's capabilities. You will act as an inside trusted advisor for operations, improving data quality and client outcomes.

This is a temporary contract until May 31, 2028. You will mentor team members, recruit and train staff, and drive governance for the central Circana Dictionary.

Qualifications

• Degree or associates' degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Item Coding BAU process areas and guide the team to meet objectives.
• Recruit, train and develop personnel with regular development plans.
• Own item coding client change requests and project expansions.
• Maintain high quality of the central Circana Dictionary (Fusion).
• Drive operational item coding processes and governance.
