Job description
We are seeking a Technical Services & Solutions Manager to lead our engineering team, oversee technical service delivery, drive project execution, and design cutting-edge IT solutions for our clients. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can also manage projects and interact directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Engineering:
Serve as the Lead Engineer, overseeing system architecture, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks for clients.
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing troubleshooting, guidance, and resolution.
Ensure best practices in IT security, cloud computing, and managed IT services are implemented effectively.
Lead research and implementation of new technologies that improve service offerings.
Project Management & Service Delivery
Oversee and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope and budget.
Define project requirements, allocate resources, and track project milestones using project management tools.
Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
Develop and optimize IT service processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Solutions Architecture & Consulting:
Design and implement IT solutions that align with clients' business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct technical assessments and provide strategic IT consulting for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation.
Work closely with sales and account management teams to craft proposals, present solutions, and support business development efforts.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture.
Provide training and upskilling opportunities to ensure the team stays ahead of technological advancements.
Establish and enforce IT standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed services.
5+ years of leadership experience in a technical or project management role.
Strong background in Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, VMware, Networking, and Cybersecurity.
Have a firm understanding of the NIST Framework.
Experience with MSP tools such as RMM, PSA, and IT documentation platforms.
Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage client relationships, and oversee IT projects.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
