Job summary

Freerecruit is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, backups and security.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with servers, virtualization, backups, networks and related infrastructure. Resilient and able to work under pressure, reliable and good at prioritising, with strong attention to detail and reporting skills.

Job description

We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator that will take responsibility for managing and maintaining a company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, backups and security. Monitor systems, troubleshoot technical issues, manage user access, perform updates and ensure that the company’s IT environment remains secure, reliable and operational.

Experience Required

• National Senior Certificate / NQF 4 or equivalent
• 5 years’ IT experience, including at least 3 years as a Systems Administrator
• MCSA and CCNA certifications
• VMware and Veeam certifications

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with servers, virtualisation, backups, networks and related infrastructure.
