IT Support Technician required in Johannesburg.

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring security compliance.

What You’ll Do:

1. Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, networks, and cloud platforms.
2. Troubleshoot switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing issues.
3. Maintain accurate documentation, including network diagrams, asset registers, and support notes.
4. Ensure client environments meet high security and compliance standards.
5. Own and resolve support tickets autonomously.
6. Support or lead deployments and onsite technical work.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably with an MSP background.
2. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365, or Cisco CCNA are preferred.
3. Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and firewall configuration.
4. Proficiency with tools like Autotask and IT Glue is advantageous.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
6. A proactive, security-first mindset.

Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 per month.

Office Based: Full-Time.
