Hiring: IT Support Specialist (Rosebank)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess an IT / Networking diploma, certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft, and CompTIA, along with hands-on experience in IT support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  2. Diagnose and resolve IT-related problems across various systems and platforms.
  3. Manage and maintain cloud environments using Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  4. Support and troubleshoot Microsoft applications and services.
  5. Assist in setting up and configuring hardware and software for users.
  6. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve them efficiently.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve IT infrastructure.
  8. Ensure data security and system integrity through regular updates and patches.
  9. Support remote users and troubleshoot issues through phone, email, and remote access tools.

Qualifications:

  1. IT / Networking diploma or equivalent.
  2. Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Associate level).
  3. AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
  4. Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals or Associate level).
  5. CompTIA certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+).
  6. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  7. Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and systems administration.
  8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Previous experience in a similar IT support role is a plus.
