IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician job vacancy in Cape Town.

Skilled junior to mid-level IT support technician with at least 3 years’ experience of working in Windows desktop support, basic Windows Server Support and basic Network Installation and support.

The candidate should be a technical hands-on kind of person able to, from time to time, make use of power tools to mount brackets and install networking cabinets, mount antenna poles, etc.

Skills Required:

• Windows Desktop Support (10, 11) – Competent.
• Windows Server support (Server 2018 to current version) – Basic.
• Understanding of Network Cabling, Routing, Switching VLANs, Wi-Fi – Basic.
• Understanding of anti-virus and end point protection applications – Competent.
• Understanding of Switches, Network cabling, Patching, WiFi – Competent.
• Understanding of Network printing – Competent.
• Understanding of Internet connectivity, routers, 3G/4G – Competent.
• Understanding of Firewalls – Basic.
