Job Description

Helpdesk:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system for internal and external users.
  2. Perform common help desk duties including password resets for various systems, basic troubleshooting related to hardware, software, network connectivity, user accounts, and standard applications.
  3. Escalate issues to higher-level support or vendors as needed.
  4. Place orders for in-warranty computer hardware repairs.

Project Management:

  1. Effectively communicate with vendors to convey customer needs and relay updates back to customers.
  2. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining contact with vendors and customers, and processing necessary paperwork promptly.
  3. Be creative in finding solutions for customers, understanding that their needs may not always be straightforward.
  4. Coordinate meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  5. Assist in gathering and organizing project documentation and requirements.
  6. Have a basic understanding of IT systems and deployments.
  7. Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Be organized and highly motivated.
  9. Familiarity with procurement guidelines.
