Outsourced CFO is recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to supporting the growing IT needs of Outsourced CFO by ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and addressing daily technical requirements. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance, managing IT equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring team members have the tools they need to perform at their best.
Reporting to the IT Manager, job responsibilities will include, among other:
Data Administration
- General Hardware environment health reporting
- Zapier creator and administrator
- Office 365 administrator
- Google Workspace Administrator
- ZOHO and CRM profile management
Setting up of IT equipment
- Receive new IT equipment
- Format new IT equipment based on OCFO protocols
- Setup of new equipment based on OCFO protocols
- On-board new team members onto the new equipment
- Off-boarding of exiting team members
- Updating OCFO Protocols where and when needed
Purchasing of IT equipment
- Keeping track of IT equipment and IT equipment spare allocation
- Monitor amount of OCFO spares and ensure that we have the minimum stock quantity at all times
- Submit purchase requests when stock levels dip below acceptable levels
- Receive and quality control spare equipment
Providing IT Support
- Assist with team members' day-to-day IT requirements
- Have an accurate knowledge of all IT software being utilized within the OCFO environment, where the IT department is required to provide support on
- Staying up to date with relevant updates on software being supported by OCFO IT and reporting relevant software changes either to the director or affected users
- Software support includes the following platforms: 3CX, ZOHO, Google Workspace, Office 365, Easy File.
- Hardware support includes but is not limited to: End user environment, 3CX Softphones, Laptops for all end users, Profile management on Panelist / contractors BYOD, End point management for users.
Training
- Assisting the training team with new team member training
Security
- Review and action IT security vulnerabilities
- Ensure that all equipment meets the set security standards at OCFO
- Enforce 2FA across all platforms used with OCFO and ensure users adopt best practices.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience with CompTIA A+ and N+ preferred.
