Job description

We are a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) with an expanding client base and a great team.

We currently have several openings due to expansion and are seeking skilled, dynamic, and passionate IT Support Engineers to join our technical team in Johannesburg, Illovo, or Cape Town CBD.

Positions available range from junior to senior levels. Working hours vary; some roles are day shifts, but most start at 15:00 and end at 00:00.

We value candidates who are flexible, with a solid technical track record and strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients.

You will need to coordinate with third-party providers, technical staff, and clients to troubleshoot systems, as well as plan and assist with new installations and upgrades. A stable career path and strong work ethics are essential.

Minimum requirements:

  • 5-10 years of IT experience including troubleshooting, migrations, and deployment
  • Technical certifications such as A+ / N+ or equivalent
  • Microsoft Azure or related certifications
  • Degree in computer science or similar (preferred for senior engineers)
  • Experience supporting Windows, Apple, and Linux systems
  • Knowledge of Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, Azure, VDI, and Azure SQL
  • Google Workspace management and troubleshooting
  • Cybersecurity foundations; advanced support for CIS-Controls, ISO, or NIST (for seniors)
  • Networking knowledge including switch configurations, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN
  • Experience with FreePBX, Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX, SIP, and VOIP protocols
  • Ability to work with network analyzers like Wireshark and Zabbix
  • Experience with wireless devices and controllers
  • Familiarity with Ticket systems and RMM tools

Additional requirements:

  • Own transport to commute to work
