A leading company in South Africa is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support for desktops, mobile devices, and conferencing tools. The role involves incident resolution, managing IT assets, and coordinating vendor engagements. Ideal candidates should possess strong skills in device management, incident logging, and service provider coordination.
Provide first- and second-line IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing tools
Log and resolve IT incidents and service requests via the ITSM platform within defined SLAs
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and access provisioning
Offer remote and onsite support across all business locations as needed
Manage and configure Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for :
Device enrollment and provisioning
Compliance and security policy enforcement
Application packaging and deployment
Administer local and network printers across all sites
Monitor print usage and assist with monthly volume reconciliation
Verify printer-related billing and ensure service provider accuracy
Arrange and coordinate vendor site visits, including scheduling and access
Travel to remote or regional offices when necessary to support vendor engagements or onsite issues
Liaise with external service providers across various IT domains (network, printing, VoIP, etc.)
Provide operational support for IT rollouts, including :
SharePoint Online migrations
VoIP system deployment and user adoption
Deployment of new enterprise software or security tools
Assist in tracking and reconciling software licenses across supported systems
Maintain up-to-date IT asset records and documentation
Ensure compliance with licensing and endpoint management policies
