About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated IT Security Specialist to join their technical team in Welkom. This hybrid role will involve hands-on work with security systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our client's information assets. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, responding to security incidents, and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization, working in a collaborative team environment that values both autonomy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network and system activities for security breaches or unauthorized access.
• Respond to security incidents, including investigation, analysis, and remediation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Provide technical support and guidance on security best practices to end-users and IT staff.

Requirements
