PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The IT Security Administrator will support the IT security team in managing and maintaining user access, roles, and permissions across internal systems. This role is a junior position with strong growth potential, designed to provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Security Analyst and Security Engineer, assisting with ticket management, access control, security administration, and day-to-day security tasks. MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

• Assist in managing and maintaining user access, roles, and permissions across systems.
• Ensure proper implementation of Just-In-Time (JIT) access, granular permissions, and security policies.
• Own and oversee the user access lifecycle, ensuring proper activation and deactivations.
• Monitor, review, and audit access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Work closely with the CISO, Security Analyst, and Security Engineer to implement security best practices.
• Manage and assign security-related tickets in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist with incident response and security investigations, escalating issues as needed.
• Support users with basic security-related queries and access requests.
• Stay up to date with industry security trends, threats, and best practices.
