Customer Success Manager - Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Customer Success Manager. This role combines technical knowledge with strong sales acumen to drive platform adoption, upsell services, and ensure client success.

Role Overview

As our Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with over 200 clients annually, analyzing their usage patterns, and developing strategies to increase platform utilization and revenue. Your primary focus will be on understanding client workflows, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client usage metrics and categorize accounts based on risk, utilization, and upsell potential
  • Execute a systematic approach to client engagement, including:
  • Meetings with current users to assess satisfaction and needs
  • Presentations to business unit heads to uncover new opportunities
  • Develop and implement tailored strategies to boost platform usage and upsell services/subscriptions
  • Perform thorough due diligence on each client's implementation and business requirements
  • Create and maintain a meticulous system for tracking client interactions and sales progress

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • Extensive experience in technical sales, particularly in closing deals with C-level executives
  • Strong technical background, preferably as a solution architect or integration specialist
  • Ability to analyze and understand workflows independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Self-driven problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategies autonomously
  • Polished presentation skills and professional demeanor

Technical Requirements

  • Basic understanding of tech stack (.NET, SQL, C#, Open Source)
  • Ability to analyze workflows and provide technical solutions without extensive support
  • Completion of certification course (desired)
