A global pharmaceutical company has a 6-month contract position for an IT Coordinator.
Job Purpose :
- The IT Coordinator is a hybrid role responsible for providing IT support to end users and collaborating across all business units within the affiliate to understand requirements and leverage existing solutions when appropriate.
- Maintains effective relationships with all management levels at the affiliate. Acts as the IT steward of the site’s IT portfolio.
- Works with IT management to understand portfolio planning, ensuring adherence to corporate strategies related to global solutions and PMO requirements, maintaining project compliance in the local PMO system, and managing demand and compliance locally and regionally.
- Assists with audits to ensure proper recertification repositories are maintained across sites for systems and infrastructure.
- Supports the delivery of IT and infrastructure solutions, collaborating with various business lines to benefit the affiliate locally and regionally when needed. Ensures delivery and support of all IT solutions used in the country (e.g., BPCS legacy ERP system, WATS asset management, local payroll system).
- Provides end-user support, incident and ticket management at the local site, and conducts end-user training as required. Participates in change management activities based on local demands.
Education :
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Experience :
- 5-10 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare but not mandatory. Demonstrated end-user management and project implementation experience. PMI certification is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrates integrity by delivering on time and meeting customer expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working with all management levels, from general managers to finance directors and individual contributors.
- Excellent coordination skills to manage activities of service providers within Division IT and BTS.
- Technical and analytical skills to identify, understand, and resolve IT-related issues.
- Knowledge of standard computing environments (business systems, Windows, Office, ERP, LAN/WAN, network security).
- Basic understanding of accounting, project management, and standard processes in finance, controlling, purchasing, and logistics.
- Understanding of application lifecycle management and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills combining technical knowledge with customer support.
