Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Manager to lead technology strategy and execution. This role will play a critical part in the implementation of SAP, while overseeing day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and future-proofing the organisation’s digital capabilities.

Qualifications & Certifications

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in ERP systems implementation (SAP highly preferred).
• CompTIA Network+/Security+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• ITIL Certification (Service Management)
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification

Key Functions:

• Lead the internal coordination and support of the SAP ERP implementation project
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth rollout, integration, and adoption
• Drive data migration, system testing, user training, and change management processes
• IT Strategy, Operations & Infrastructure:
• Develop and implement a forward-looking IT strategy aligned to the company’s business goals
• Maintain, monitor, and upgrade IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments
• Ensure uptime, system performance, and security across all platforms
• Cybersecurity & Compliance:
• Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies
• Oversee cybersecurity frameworks, firewall configurations, endpoint protection, and data encryption
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are in place
• Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead and develop a small IT team to deliver exceptional support and service
• Engage with HR, Finance, Admin, and Production departments to identify and implement tech solutions
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, SLAs, and procurement of software/hardware
• Lead and manage multiple IT projects from scoping to execution and support
