Job description

The successful incumbent will play a key role in overseeing our Client's IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and hosting services with third-party service providers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. First-line support for systems.
  2. Ensuring ICT strategy aligns with business objectives and IT trends.
  3. Implementing IT governance, managing IT risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  4. Managing the use of approved software and hardware, maintaining active supplier support.
  5. Ensuring licensed software usage, daily server backups, and conducting monthly tests.
  6. Running disaster recovery programs with hosting service providers.
  7. Ensuring data replication from local servers to production servers at the hosting site.
  8. Applying software and hardware updates/patches as per IT policy.
  9. Archiving emails and implementing mail protection (e.g., Mimecast).
  10. Managing incident, request, and change logs, and resolving issues prior to escalation.
  11. Executing maintenance programs and providing ad-hoc system training.
  12. Maintaining barcode registers and managing user accounts across systems.
  13. Calculating incentives, sales prices, and preparing reports for the board.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in technology or a related discipline, with at least six years' experience in networks, computer setup, and software deployment. Strong accounting, finance, and budgeting skills are required. Hands-on experience with SQL Server and experience in a manufacturing environment are preferred. IT management experience and user support skills are essential.
