Job description

The following vacancy is available in Gauteng:

An IT Infrastructure Technician is needed for the Rosebank HO.

Preference will be given to equity candidates: Gender & Group.

African Male / White Male / Coloured Male.

Job purpose:

To ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of all the IT infrastructure and to assist the business in delivering on its profitability objectives.

Key Accountable Responsibilities:

1. To deliver on agreed SLAs, manage any out-of-line situations with the business, and report back to the line manager on the performance of their tickets.
2. Ensure costs are maintained and the authorization process is followed at all times.
3. Ensure delivery by third-party service providers against set SLAs and escalate non-performance to the line manager in a timely manner.
4. Provide a professional and friendly service to all internal and external customers at all times.

Competency and qualification requirements:

• IT Degree / Diploma / Certificate (A Network MCITP)
• Grade 12
• 2 years experience in Micro Finance
• 2-4 years IT Infrastructure experience
