Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Repair Technician for the Altron Meadowview Warehouse in South Africa. The role focuses on repairing IT and electronic equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring high-quality repairs within agreed turnaround times.

You will read schematics, perform soldering, and maintain accurate records, while using MS Office tools for reporting. The position supports continuous improvement and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: National Diploma and National Technical Certificate.
• N or S courses preferred.
• 0–3 years' experience in technical IT repairs.
• Experience with component-level repairs.
• Basic troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform component-level repairs on IT and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and electronic faults.
• Conduct basic testing and fault-finding activities.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
• Carry out soldering and rework activities as required.
• Ensure repairs meet turnaround times and quality standards.
• Maintain repair records and documentation.
• Use Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting and communication.
• Adhere to quality, health, safety and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in repair environment.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and support.
