Job summary

ATS Client in Sandton is seeking an IT Data Architect to design enterprise Azure data platforms and guide cloud adoption. This on-site role focuses on scalable architectures using Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks and SQL to support analytics initiatives.

You will lead data modernisation from legacy systems to cloud, ensure data quality and governance, and enable BI via Power BI across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong data modelling experience (star/snowflake, semantic layers).
• Proven Databricks experience (hands-on).
• Experience managing large-scale data environments / multiple data lakes.
• Strong focus on data quality frameworks and monitoring.
• 7+ years in enterprise data architecture.
