Job summary

Discovery Limited in Sandton is seeking an IT Auditor to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of information systems, IT controls, security processes and regulatory compliance. You will work within Group Internal Audit to ensure IT environments are secure and aligned to business objectives.

The role covers IT general controls, application controls, data analytics and CAATs-enabled testing, with responsibilities from planning through reporting and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• B Degree or equivalent qualification with computer-related majors.
• CIA / CISA / CISM / CRISC / CGIT (one or more) is required.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience.
• Experience with IT general and application controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, monitor and improve IT controls, security processes and regulatory compliance.
• Perform IT general control and application control testing.
• Prepare engagement letters, planning memos, RACM and test procedures.
• Provide regular progress updates and manage audit follow-ups.
