About the Role
The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in enabling digital transformation through high-impact IT projects. You'll work within the IT Governance Services Division, engaging with diverse stakeholders and ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into functional solutions. The position is hybrid, with occasional on-site presence required.

Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse, and document business, user, and system requirements
Translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
Support feasibility studies, impact analysis, and solution design
Collaborate through all stages of the SDLC
Facilitate testing, training, and implementation processes
Maintain project documentation and analysis artefacts
Encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in IT, Information Systems, or Business Analysis
OR NQF Level 5 Business Analysis certification with at least 8 years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years in a business analysis role within a large enterprise
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of SDLC and project management lifecycles
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and documentation standards
Competent in data modelling and business process design
Proficient with Microsoft Office and modelling tools (e.g., Visio, UML)
Able to work independently and within a team
Experience in the higher education sector (preferred)
