About the job

Forvis Mazars is currently seeking an IT Audit Manager to participate in client engagement teams, assessing, improving, and evaluating our client's business and Information Technology (IT) processes and controls, predominantly in their IT environment.

What will your day look like?

• Support in planning and preparation for IT Audit engagements, including scoping and planning meetings with clients
• Budgeting and WIP management
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, inspire teamwork, and utilize current technology to enhance deliverables
• Coach and support junior team members, ensuring engagement deadlines are met
• Manage work schedules and track time spent on engagements
• Analyze business, financial, and IT systems to identify risks and improvements
• Assist clients in strengthening internal controls and improving IT and business performance

Collaborate with engagement team members to plan engagements, develop work programs, risk assessments, and planning documents.

Ensure high-quality client service by overseeing daily progress, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.

Maintain long-term client relationships and networks, and cultivate business development opportunities.

Demonstrate the ability to discuss and resolve audit issues and recommendations with client management.

Show thorough understanding of complex information systems and applications relevant to client situations.

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, information systems, business, or related fields
• Program and project delivery skills, including design and reporting
• Pursuing certifications such as CISA or CISM
• 4-6 years of experience in IT auditing, IT security, or internal audit
