Minimum Qualification Required
  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate
  • Relevant certifications in IT asset management or related areas
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications
What will you do?
  • Manage software assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring license compliance and avoiding overspend.
  • Understand license models and contractual terms for software installations.
  • Recommend licensing strategies, analyze stakeholder requirements, and act as the central point for procurement.
  • Implement and maintain SAM technology, providing outputs that identify risks.
  • Track license entitlements and costs, managing obligations like true-ups, cancellations, audits, and renewals.
What will make you successful in this role?
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Product Licensing and scripting tools.
  • Experience with Reftab Asset Management software is advantageous.
  • Experience managing data center hardware maintenance agreements and renewals.
