We are seeking a proactive IT Administrator to join a leading global automotive manufacturer. This is a fast-paced, safety-critical environment where you’ll play a key role in supporting IT systems and infrastructure both locally and with international teams.

Your key responsibilities:

Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure in a busy production environment.
Ensure compliance with SOX, audits, and internal controls.
Assist with MES/ERP integration and support (SAP or similar).
Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity protocols.
Provide hands-on support across the plant – cables, networking, servers, and troubleshooting.
Be on standby when required, with occasional after-hours or night-shift callouts.
Collaborate with international IT teams in Europe and report both locally and into global structures.
Act as IT lead—managing vendors, contractors, and future tech roadmap.
Support a shared services environment while being the go-to IT contact on-site.

Our required expertise:

A tertiary qualification in IT or related ideal but not a deal breaker
CompTIA A+ and N+ (or equivalent)
Strong IT networking and troubleshooting skills.
Minimum 4 to 8 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong problem-solving ability – quick thinker who thrives under pressure.
Hands-on IT support background, preferably within the automotive manufacturing / industrial environments.
Willingness to work on-site 100% of the time.
Ability to work independently without micromanagement.
Driver’s license and own vehicle (for urgent callouts).
Dynamic, energetic individual – not deskbound, but actively present on the production floor
