IT Account Manager

IT Account Manager required in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Managing and nurturing existing client relationships.
2. Driving growth through upselling and cross-selling.
3. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
4. Coordinating product management and aligning solutions with client needs.
5. Working closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
2. Certification or diploma in Business, Marketing or Communication.
3. Minimum 5 years of hands-on Account Management experience in the IT industry.
4. Must have own car and a valid driver’s license.
5. Client Service and Communication qualification or courses required.

Skills required:

1. Relationship building skills.
2. Confident in presentations, proposals and negotiations.
3. Ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
4. Proactive in addressing client concerns.
5. Manage multiple accounts efficiently.
6. Develop account growth strategies.
7. Prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
8. Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho.
9. Use data to refine sales strategies.
10. Understand trends and client needs in IT.
