ISO and Health & Safety Manager - Manufacturing

Our client is looking for an experienced ISO and Health and Safety Manager from the manufacturing industry to join their team in the East Rand. This is a permanent position, available immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of ISO 9001:2015 and Health & Safety systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement, manage and maintain ISO 9001:2015 systems
2. Oversee all Health and Safety protocols and compliance
3. Conduct internal audits and ensure corrective actions are taken
4. Develop and maintain documentation in line with ISO standards
5. Train and support staff in ISO and H&S procedures
6. Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies
7. Ensure legal compliance with health and safety legislation
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and safety

Requirements:

1. Matric
2. Qualified Internal Auditor
3. At least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (ISO and Health and Safety)
4. Proven experience in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015
5. Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
8. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (advantageous)
9. Must reside in the East Rand or surrounding area
