Job title: iSchoolAfrica - Coding and Robotics Programme Co-ordinator & Facilitator

Responsibilities
- Programme & Curriculum Development: Design and deliver innovative, structured coding and robotics programmes. Integrate Apple technologies, coding languages (Swift, Scratch, Python), and robotics kits (e.g., Sphero). Ensure programmes are impactful, scalable, and financially sustainable.
- Innovation & Quality Assurance: Research, test, and introduce emerging coding platforms and robotics kits. Evaluate and improve curriculum effectiveness based on outcomes. Promote inclusivity and accessibility for diverse learning needs. Localise global Apple Education initiatives such as Swift Playgrounds and Everyone Can Code.
- Programme Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee coding and robotics workshops across schools nationally. Liaise with educators, school leaders, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation. Track progress, report on KPIs, and manage resources, equipment, and logistics.
- Facilitation & Training: Deliver engaging coding and robotics sessions for both teachers and learners. Train and support educators in the effective use of Apple technologies and coding tools. Inspire learners to think critically, problem-solve, and collaborate through project-based learning. Support additional iSchoolAfrica programmes when required.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilitation, teaching, or training (coding / robotics / ICT). Strong track record in delivering workshops, training, or classroom sessions. Familiarity with Apple devices, apps, and the Apple education ecosystem.
- Skills & Competencies: Solid knowledge of coding concepts and robotics platforms. Strong facilitation, communication, and classroom management skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. Passion for education, technology, and social impact. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally. Practical coding knowledge (Swift, Python, Scratch or similar).
