Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train irrigation technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Monitor water usage, soil moisture levels, and weather patterns to optimize irrigation scheduling.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system malfunctions promptly to minimize water waste and crop stress.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, water usage, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing large-scale irrigation systems, preferably in an agricultural context.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, water management principles, and different irrigation technologies.
• Experience with irrigation scheduling software and water conservation techniques.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
