Competent Candidates is seeking an Internal Marketer for the irrigation division in South Africa. The role focuses on marketing and managing our irrigation products, developing new business and enhancing market share through strategic sales initiatives.

The successful candidate will combine strong Afrikaans and English communication with solid product knowledge, relationship building and entrepreneurial thinking to grow client and supplier networks and drive targets.

Qualifications

• Fluent Afrikaans and English communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of irrigation products (center pivots and general).
• Strong sales, marketing and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent relationship-building with clients and suppliers.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic and innovative thinking; networking skills.
• SABI irrigation qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive product ranges to cater to irrigation needs.
• Market irrigation products and promote expansion of client relationships.
• Achieve financial targets and manage stock administration.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients and suppliers.
